Cancellation and refund policy

Our services have no contract. Here is how a cancellation works, before or after installation.

Cancelling one or more services

Your account stays active until you request cancellation (or until Club Internet ends it in accordance with the terms of service). You can cancel all or part of your services at any time, by email at info@clubinternet.ca, by phone, by letter or in person at one of our offices.

The cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your notice, or on the later date that you specify. Charges apply until that date. If you cancel only an option, it is billed until the next billing date.

We send you a written confirmation of the service end date.

Cancellation before installation

You can cancel at no charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled installation date. Any amount already paid is refunded in full when the equipment is returned. For a cancellation less than 48 hours before installation, processing fees may be withheld.

Cancellation after installation

  • If you cancel within 48 hours after activation, the full installation fee may be billed.
  • If you paid a year in advance (free installation) and cancel before the end of the year, the installation fee that had been waived for you is withheld, and the remaining balance is refunded to you.
  • Club Internet may end a service of indefinite duration with written notice of at least 30 days.

Returning the equipment

The modem is a free rental and remains the property of Club Internet. After the cancellation, you must return it within 14 business days, in good condition and complete, to one of our offices: 8254, rue Saint-Hubert, Montréal or 212, rue Quévillon, Varennes. No charge if it comes back in good condition; otherwise, the replacement cost is billed.

Refund

Any remaining credit, once the balance is settled, is refunded to the credit card on file or by cheque in the name of the account holder, within 30 days after the equipment is returned. If your card is no longer active, the refund is made by cheque: keep your mailing address up to date. If your account stays active, the credit is applied to your next bills.
